Roy Raymond is the founder of Victoria's secret; an afforable womans wear, lingerie and beauty line. Roy Raymond is an American designer. Roy started Victoria's Secret in the 1977 in San Fransisco, California. Sadly after selling Victoria's Secret to another company Roy committed suicide, he was 47 years old, divorced and also had two teenage kids. Much of Victoria's Secrets success not only came after they were bought by Limited Brands but also by Grace Nichols (CEO) and her commitment and promotion for the company.
Every year since 1995 Victoria's Secret holds an annual fashion show that draws in millions of viewers every year. Sadly their annual fashion show has been cancelled over controversy.
"Limited Brands"
Limited Brands is the buisness that purchased Victoria's secret from Roy Raymond after Roy's fith year with the company. After "Limited Brands" had purchased Victoris secret, by the 1990's they were the largest American lingeire company.
